I think Emma is dreaming of fish sticks and tater tots. With cholate cake for dessert. Wonder what Chaps is dreaming of?

Cat- next year we have to figure out how to smuggle the kids into the Wisconsin State Fair–we have chocolate covered bacon on a stick. How would Chaps feel about that?? LOL

I adore seals!! Bassets DO resemble them:) Biggs sounds like one, I swear. I also tell Leo if I put tusks on him he’d look like a walrus;)

Seals are soooo cute. I really love the bassethoundtown.com wharf area though.

We actually have a Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant in Galveston Texas. They have really good seafood and it’s 2 story, right on the water. Beautiful view of the bay. Man, makes me wanna go there! We haven’t been out in so long I think we need to go one day soon.

The Wharf gets very loud when the sea lions sun themselves. The piers are enclosed with a levee of sorts. The “gates” are lowered in the morning and the sea lions swim in from the sea, hop on the piers, lay around all day, and in the early evening swim back out to sea in search of food. It’s quite humorous to see them jockeying for position in the early morning! I often say that our bassets sound a lot like sea lions, unfortunately, they look like them too!
