Baby Daisy and Baby Hal arrive from Japan!

December 4th, 2014 - 9:09 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Baby Daisy and Baby Hal lovers…I am so excited to share these darling gifts with the residents of bassethoundtown.  Can you imagine my JOY when I received this package from Japan?

KAZ1

Most all of the residents know Hal and his Mommy Kazuyo…

KAZ14

We have been friends for years.  We even got to spend time together in 2011 at the Basset Hound Club of America Nationals in KY.  So much fun.  We have both been blogging about our love of basset hounds for years.

Meet Baby Daisy and Baby Hal!

KAZ2

I must show everyone the amazing details that each little basset doll has…

This is Baby Daisy.  I took off her little shrug sweater and hat.  Look at the little Daisy on her pink dress.  She also has her very own little bag filled with knitted daisies.  OMD – can you even believe the cuteness overload?

KAZ3

Then I put on her little shrug and little hat that is just so delicate and delightful.  You can’t see the daisy on the front of the hat in this picture but notice it in some coming up.

KAZ4

Now we have Baby Hal.  Goodness sakes alive…complete with a Daisy on the front of his darling overalls!  YES!  You heard me right, overalls!

KAZ5

Look at the back!!!

KAZ6

Baby Hal’s little hat even has a baby bill!  He also has a tiny shrug.  Howl did she do this?  Amazing details and overwhelming cuteness.  Look at the tiny buttons…

KAZ7

I adore the newest baby residents of bassethoundtown!

KAZ9

“Someone” else would love to get closer to the newest residents but NO WAY darling Mayor! I know she smelled Hal on them…

KAZ10

Mayor Daisy you have your place on the couch and the toy basset babies have their place on my mantle!

KAZ11

Between the late Mayor, Chaps Wayne Rudert…

KAZ12

And Mommy, Chaps and Emma…With Lily and Chloe looking over it all…

KAZ13

The magic of the howl-low-days…

More loving new residents (and Kaz) later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB knitting rainbow daisies)…

WOW! That took a lot of time, talent and patience. They do not look like ornaments or dolls to me. They are works of art!

The dolls are adorable! Hal’s mommy is very talented. I noticed in the photo of the Christmas tree – does it have milk bones on it made into basset hounds? That is so cute.
