Dear Basset Hound friends. This is the first post on my website that I have been planning for the past six years. I cannot believe it it finally here. This is the only portion of the website that is up right now because we are still working on it. It will only be a very short time before you can come and visit our town. Since this is my first post, I am going to see if I did it correctly. Cat
Basset hounds rock we just brought our first home he is the coolest dog and we want another already..
I have been loving your posts on YouTube…I especially loved the howling trio in the basset express. What a joy to hear those wonderful hound voices! In fact, our two bassets here in Atlanta were alerted via their huge basset antennas (aka their extra long slobbery ears) and joined in on the fun.
You website is great I love it good luck on your next book!
Dear Kit Kat this morning I sat down with the boys and read your book again, WOW!!!!!!! Each time I read it I see something new. We love you so much and can’t wait to see you. XOXO Nin and the boys.
Cat — Congrats! You have great basset babies & are on your way to a wonderful website. It’s nice to see someone love their bassets as much as my friend & I do! Jeanne (Found you via Google videos & have linked you to Laura, should you hear from her, too!)
Dear Cathy:
Congratulations on your book! Your website looks great and we can’t wait to see it when its finished.

Hi. What are your basset books about? How can we buy one?
I love your bassethounds!
I love your basset hounds! I have one myself! Her name is Princess and she is five years old!
Ohhh I love the bassets. I got one when I was 19 but had to give it up when I was 21 because I could no longer take care of it. I’m 24 now and I still have a big hole in my heart from losing her. At least she has a good family to be with. I named her Athena, after the greek goddess of wisdom. True to her name, I gained much wisdom as a result of her being in my life.
This is a picture of her when she was a puppy.

Dear Cat,
Just wanted to drop you a line and congratulate you on your website! It’s awesome! You did such a fantastic job! Acacia and I are still enjoying your book. We have shown it to all our friends and family. They all agree that it is so sweet and touching. We can all tell it was made with love. Cat, you have the sweetest dogs in the world, and you have the biggest heart. I am so lucky that I got to meet you and Chaps and Emma. Will be commenting again very soon — you can count on it!
Janet 🙂
