Today Basset Hound Town in is morning. Our friend Rickey passed away this weekend and is now with loved ones at the rainbow bridge. His final days were a stylish celebration of love and livin’ large with his two Dads. Rickey visited such places as Palm Springs and Big Sur. He really crammed alot of livin’ into his short time with Bob and Dodson. Rickey passed from complications due to pancreatitis. He is survived by his two basset sisters, Sugar and Lana. God Speed Rickey. Your friends, Cat, Chaps and Emma

As I sit here with tears running down my face, I want to send you lots of love at this very hard time. I’ve watched Rickey on YouTube with your other furbabies Sugar and Lana…and I know that Rickey was loved very much, and was so lucky to have you both as his dads. I know that Rickey will live on in all of our hearts forever! We will miss him greatly!!

    Love from Canada,

    Tawny & Oakley

To Rickey’s 2 Dads, I bet he was a good hound. I am sure he is already with Bongo. That’s should bring you some comfort. Sincerely, Wayne

I hope Sugar and Lana are doing OK. I watch your videos on YouTube. I found you through this website’s videos. The three of them howling is priceless. I also hope Ricky’s Dads are doing OK. Thomas

What a lovely tribute for a lovely boy. I have both you and Bongos House on my favorites list. I have informed my ATB hounds to show Rickey around. He is going to be mobbed ATB. Sling some rainbow drool Rickey. Sue

It’s amazing how “lurkers” will come out of the wood work for support during grief. I wish Rickey and his family well. BTW, Rickey’s tribute was very touching. Town member, Ryan

I am just checking this blog. I usually keep up to date better. I cannot belive that Rickey passed away. I love your website and found Bongo’s house on your blogroll. I am not on blogger.com so I can not leave a message for them. I am so sorry for them, but I am quite glad to “hang on to my hat!” Can you pass this along. Thanks, Winston (me) and my basset, Winston Jr.
