Here is some information about the video. We wanted to make it perfect so we all spent alot of time on it. Devon’s husband did all of the filming which took many, many hours. I did the editing and set up for the video which took 10 hours. Devon picked the song. It is called HOME by Chris Daughtry. Some of you may remember him from American Idol. Devon said that while she was sequestered by ABC she listened to this song alot. The lyrics made her think of old hounds and how much they needed her. Here’s an interesting twist!!!! Chris is Bald! LOL!
I will be working with Devon on releasing more videos of the Sr. Hounds at BaRNI. She has some great footage that is still in the can. Please, Please, Please….Pass this video around the world. We are part of a great group, us hound people! More Later…Cat, Chaps and Emma
I rated it a five and posted it on myspace!
Devon’s Dream is mine as well. I live in New Mexico. I have no money right now, but I will make it my goal to save up. This video should be shown to all puppy mill breeders. I work hard to shut them down in my state! Please help me with my cause. You can help Devon. Shut down puppy mills. Sam
Devon, you are so uplifting. The video just made me cry! And laugh! I think ABC was wrong. I will pass it to my list of friends. I am a producer. I have a big list. I am begging other people in my field to do the same! Bette

I must say, that I cannot believe that there are not more comments on this blog listing. This video was the best basset hound thing I have ever seen. Very wierd. Devon, if you are reading this, remember there are lurkers that do not post. Eddie and Lady – Sr. hound of my life
Cry? I BAWLED!!
Cat – Devon – Todd… you all did an exceptional job on this video…. oh the hounds. You captured so many precious moments of Daphneyland life – so many hounds which represent the homeless needs of our beloved breed coast to coast, for there is a Daphneyland need in every single state.
You gals knock our socks off – now, to get those socks back from the hounds!! The Dream WILL be a reality. The Senior Center WILL be built.
Much love….. from homeless hounds the world over.
You all did an excellent job on the video! Perfect song choice too! It just breaks my heart that so many senior hounds get tossed aside by their families; I’ll never understand that. But thank God for people like all of you who make it your mission to save them and provide them a home to live out their golden years.
AWESOME video! Thank you for all the work, time and effort it took to make this. Truly, it captures a typical day at the Ranch. Loved the shot of Luke the blind basset in the passenger seat of the Rescue van! The song you picked out is perfect. Each time I watch the video, tears fill my eyes. So many hounds to care for which takes money, so donations are so much needed. And the money all goes to caring for these loving hounds while they await their forever home! Thanks so much for making this video! I applaude you all!
