Ralph, sinks to the depths of despair, then flies high! YES!

Howllo Fellow Hound Lovers: Meet Ralph. A down on his luck hound puppy that was dumped, emaciated and sick in a Sacramento Shelter. Well, Ralph’s luck changed on Friday, when an angel from Pomeranian rescue swooped down and yanked him from his dire situation! Ralphie was whisked to the Mather Airfield for his 2 and 1/2 hour flight to Acton. He slept the entire way. Here is the story of Ralph’s weekend journey. Quote, from Dawn at BaRNI, “There are angels in this world who fly high – and the Alsups sure do head that list…”

hey, have my prayers been answered?

This a portion of the e-mail from Dawn of BaRNI at Daphneyland
As most of you know, we had a crisis situation for an emaciated puppy named Ralph in a Sacramento Shelter. Many thanks go out to Theresa & Patrick Alsup who flew their plane to Sacramento, and picked Ralph up from the wonderful rescuer who had pulled him out of the shelter on Friday afternoon. Ralph flew into Agua Dulce Airpark on Sunday early evening – private plane and all…
In the meantime, Devon Smith had so graciously made a donation page for Ralph so that his vet care fund would be ready for his unknown medical care. (see link below) I can report that Ralph rides well in a private plane – kisses like a champ and although reported to be 4 months old, may not be that old. For those that have donated, called, offered assistance – Thank you! Here is Ralph’s first photos of the rest of his life – the good part….

    Monday morning Ralph Update:
Ralph is doing really well considering all he has been thru – he ate his breakfast like a champ, complete with all added nutrients etc. He kisses, kisses and kisses again. Puppyteeth are very gentle, although his front 4 teeth are adults as Kirsten discovered this morning……
Aunt Rita is playing Ralph keeper while we run out for some much needed Ralph supplies – stay tuned for Ralph updates – he is just a love, hugs you with his front paws and gives kisses as if he KNOWS how close he was to the final sleep – Cindel, you are a SAVIOR for getting this sweet angel within minutes of euthanasia……

That is my daughter Lisa, the pooch handler, during the flight. She thinks he’s cute and fun. Happy to have been a part of that great adventure.

Ralph, you are one lucky hound. I can only imagine what a wonderful forever home awaits you. Eat, sleep and get lots of exercise just like I did at Daphneyland. You’ll be loved and pampered – what more can a hound ask for. I’m so happy for you!
