Ft. Thomas, the BUSTERIFIC has landed!
Howllo Fellow Hound and everyone who meets him, Buster lovers: (Except for Chaps!)
First off, I have to thank my younger sister, Caryn for saving Buster. Without her contacting me I would have never known about sweet Buster. Also, thank you John, the brother, for finding Buster the perfect situation any basset could ever have. A wonderful place in basset hound rescue. These folks are some of the best souls I have ever met. A big thank you to Susan of Bluegrass Basset Hound Rescue for taking him in. Susan, you rock!
Now, lets get to Busterific. He is the cutest hound you can ever imagine. So well behaved, sweet, and loving. I just got home and it is too hectic to take pictures or videos. This is my first foster and I am a nervous wreck. I have him in my bathroom that has a tile floor in case of mistakes. I also have a bed that my Mom said, “I wish I could crawl in there”! I just peaked and he is firmly in his bed. Chaps has attacked Emma once. He is not happy at all.
Back to Buster. He has already jumped into my Mom, Dad, and my heart. Both my Mom and Dad went nuts over him. If you have seen any pictures of Buster his ears looked really short. Well, they are not near that short. He always hold them up in a very quizzical manner. His eyes are huge and so expressive.
I did take one picture to try and capture his natural ear length and his beautiful eyes. Tomorrow we will totally capture him on film.
He is a lover boy.
More Later…Cat, Chaps, Emma, and Buster
P.S. he has the cutest little curlie q’s on his rear end!
Cat, you are one fabulous human being. An angel among us.
Kip and Gus
So excited to get to foster the Busterific ourselves! We’ve placed every foster that has come thru our doors in the past 6 months, not to mention most of the 100+ bassets we’ve fostered over the past 10 years. Busterific, I promise you a forever home! Can’t wait to meet you!!
Buster, you are in houndie heaven right now. Take advantage of it! (psst watch out for Chaps)
Breathe Cat, Breathe!!
How wonderful – your first foster!!!
Don’t panic if he doesn’t want to eat, don’t panic if he scarfs – this is all new to him and most likely he’ll sleep like the dead for the first bit of time anyway…lol.
What a lucky hound, walking in Lily’s pawprints!!!
Bluegrass will take great care of him we all know, they’re WONDERFUL!
Dawn and the Hounds of Daphneyland
I am so glad that Buster is now in good hands. He will always love you for that!!! I am so glad that somehow I was told about him. It certainly does take a village….. Give Buster a hug from us.
Caryn (the sister)!
Cat , I am so proud of you. You ROCK. Ken
Cat, thank you so much for saving this hound boy! He is sooooooo cute! What a lucky boy! One of my senior bassets, Coco, does the same thing with her ears!!! They go from basset to beagle ears – lol!
Love you lots,
Devon
