Look what Chaps’ received in the mail yesterday! Not to be out done by Wendell, Kip’s Grand Daughter, Savannah, sent us her hand made mitten. This is her school project. Her class has sent many mittens out on journeys to many states, cities and of couse internet towns!
What better place than bassethoundtown? I can’t think of any!
The Mayor inspects the pink mitten!!!!!! He is certain, it is holding treats???? Where are the treats????? Mittens fit on hands, hands hold treats!
Mayor Chaps is very impressed with the detail of the pink mitten. He loved the pink string that stitched it together. He loved it so much he started chewing on it!
He finally stopped and posed for this picture! 
Look, the Mayor put his winter scarf on to make the mitten feel more at home!
Good luck with your journey pink mitten. The Mayor is sending something special back with you! It is the Lily book that Savannah’s Grand Dad bought. The Mayor is so impressed, he is sending an extra Lily book for your town’s Library in honor of sweet Savannah!
