UPDATE – This just in from Devon – Basset needs help in AL
THIS JUST IN FROM BHRA:
We are aware of this little girl and are working to have her pulled from the shelter and get her up to Clanton so she can be vetted and posted on our website.
If anyone out there can help, please let me know.

Howllo fellow hound and AL lovers: We may have partied hardy last night but the hard work continue today. It is not a holiday for hounds that are abused and homeless. There is no happy new year for them without us!
Devon asked me to post this from someone who sent it to her.
“Maybe you could post this on your blog? Poor girl…In Alabama”
This is a Basset Hound we have at our shelter that needs ‘rescuing’. Because of her physical condition, she is NOT for adoption, but will only be released to an approved rescue. This little girl has obviously been bred to death, but did not come in with any puppies. She is very, very sweet, walks well on a leash, is fine around other dogs and is also very quiet. She doesn’t have the typical ‘Basset bark’. We have not vaccinated her, but rather have been giving her canned and dry food mixed with nutrical. This week, she’ll be dewormed and frontlined also. If you can help, please let me know. Thank you.
