Howllo Fellow Hound, Horse, Reptile, and everything pet lovers! We had a great time at the Expo. It was crazy! I knew it would be good when we saw a massive basset hound made of balloons at the entrance.

My dinky camera could not capture the beauty of this art piece. It was bassetabulous! The Expo was very rescue oriented, which I loved. I am not a fan of the reptiles, but as you can imagine my nephew is!

His Mom (my sister) is very up on reptiles as well. She had a blast with him in this section. All of the reptiles were rescues and very well cared for. This booth was drawing a huge amount of people. My Mom was not one of them. So we headed over to something that was drawing my attention!

This just floored me! I am a huge supporter of disaster teams that come to rescue animals in any way, shape or form. This organization is called CODE 3 ASSOCIATES
This rig was so huge it would boggle your mind. There is a surgery area, boats in the rafters and teams of animal lovers. At one time, during Katrina, 40 people were living on this rig. I heard one guy say, “We do animal rescue. We will even rescue a human if we have to!” It was all in good fun. Everyone was laughing.

The massive nature of this rig was awe inspiring!
ABOVE ALL DO NO HARM, was posted above command central. I just broke out in tears. I felt so honored to go through this beacon of hope.
On we went towards the cheering crowds…..

Wow, did you know Dogs could fly so high? I cut the head off the shot! LOL!
I guess you can tell that we had a great time. I hope you did as well.
More Later…Cat, Chaps and Emma
P.S. I saw a few hound rescues selling the Lily book. I hope they did OK!
P.P.S. stay tuned for what my sister bought for Chaps to wear at his Grand Marshall event!
