“Someone” just had a potty mistake in the sunroom.
Howllo Fellow Hound and not loving the potty mistake inside lovers: OMG, I had to LOL! I walked into the sun room to check the front yard flowers. As you know from my first blog posting of the day, it is storming in bassethoundtown. Anyway, since Emma was a pup I have laid a water-proof pad with a towel over it by the sunroom door. When Emma was a pup, if I did not catch her standing by the door within a nano second, she would squat.
Now I keep it there for several reasons.
1.) For the kids to wipe their feet after they come in from the front patio area.
2.) For Emma when she first went blind. She would get confused and scared and use that area for tinkling. That has all but ended.
3.) For rare mistakes, like if “someone” does not want to go out in the rain!!!! (Keep in mind they can go out the back dog door and go potty on a covered porch).
Who is that “someone” you ask. I guess we will never know. Both kids followed me out and Voila, a tinkle spot on the rug. As I looked down, they both looked up at me. Of course Emma was just pointing her head in my direction. Then I say, in a low voice, “Oh no!!!! Who tinkled on the matt? Oh nooooooo, that’s a no – no!!!!”
Then what totally cracked me up is, they both went to their bed with their tail between their stubby legs and went belly up as if it were choriographed by an expert. It was so funny. I had to lay down with them and rub bellies! That’s how we roll! Belly rubs for bad behavior!
My goodness, we can’t have wet paws????
Soooooo, the question remains. Who is that “someone”? Chaps and Emma aren’t telling, they just cover for each other.
More detective work later….Cat, Chaps and Emma
P.S.
I am going to be putting most of these snoods in my boutique soon. They are just beautiful. This is a very old video. I did not make them go out there in the ran. I had just cleaned it prior to filming. Wow, it is kind of crazy to see Emma fully sighted. I really miss those eyes.
This is a video that shows what my front area looks like. My Dad calls it the, “Ladies Room”! LOL!
LOLOLOL!!!! I can just see them doing it!! It reminds me of when my sister Shannon and I were growing up:
GIRLS! Who (lost, broke, moved etc.) the ______ ?
Not me!
Not me!
It wasn’t me!
Well, it wasn’t me!
hahaha! It was so funny Melynda, I am still laughing. How smart our hounds are!
