Emma – effected by high gas prices!!!
Howllo Fellow Hound and chow hound lovers! Today I had to make my trip to Emma’s vet to purchase her prescription hound chow. Emma is severely allergic to many things, including her food. Not only is the poor girl blind, but she has to eat bland food. Bland expensive food! The current price for a 20 pound bag of her Rabbit and Potato chow is 50.00 dollars! The cost went up 5.00 dollars a bag to cover the gas for the truckers to bring it to the vets! Plus, it takes me 20 minutes to get to her vet to buy the food!
Eating has always been Emma’s high point. I add micro-waved shredded red potato slurry to her meal every night to jazz it up.
Her only treat is a slice of raw red potato.
We are sick of the short end of the stick! Thank goodness we have each other!

Oh Cat I am so sorry that Emma is blind. BoBac Bassets sucks. I know other hounds that have gone blind from their line. I will contact you about it.
