Tomorrow will be day 6!!!!!

October 8th, 2008 - 4:04 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound and day six lovers: We are almost 1/2 way home to getting Emma’s stitches out and the optivisor off. I think Emma is feeling a bit depressed today. You have to wonder if she thinks she is never getting that thing off. She has no way of knowing.

It will all be over soon and we can get back to normal.

More updates later….Cat, Chaps and Emma

We have to do something to cheer Emma up.

I see that the Mayor is helping out with Emma’s backlog of work. (Just between you, me and the computer; I think the Mayor wanted to help Emma but he also wanted some doughnuts).

I know Chaps’ heart is in the right place.

In response to your comment on Chicken Little’s angry website…

I’d just like to say that while it may be your tax money…it is the government’s job to decide how to use it…if you indeed have a problem with that, I suggest you take it up with your state representative; as Miss P.W. has no control over this.

Or, if you prefer, you can just throw your hands up and claim it is all a “crock”

P.S. I actually love Basset Hounds…mine is named Louie!

Rhea is commenting on a comment I made on another blog to anyone who is wondering. Why she did not leave it on CL’s blog is beyond me.

I will leave my response on CL’s blog.

    Love your P.S.! Kewl

    What is CL’s blog?

Oh, well that answers my question!

Regarding the government making wise decisions on how to spend money is a wacky topic. I for one do not think they do their job very well.

I beg to differ on what Miss P.W. and her husband have control over. I think they should take care of the souls on their land without getting a hand out. They can certainly afford it. P.W. could do a fund raiser and sell her pictures or do a calendar. They don’t need tax payer money for that. She should use some of her skills to help with mustang rescue.

It is wasteful spending and I am going to dig deeper into this. I bet it’s like pulling a thread on a sweater.

Again, sorry to anyone else who is reading this.

Rhea, if you want, contact me via the contact page and we can take this off of my comment section. It really is not relevant to Emma’s recovery.

    up to you.
