Howllo fellow Hound and Rudy lovers:

HERE IS THE FIRST POST I DID ON RUDY

HERE IS THE SECOND POST I DID ON RUDY – COMPLETE WITH VIDEO

HERE IS THE THIRD POST I DID ON RUDY

Well since those postings, Rudy has been in the pound 3 more times. Every time his family came and got him, much to my chagrin. His family is an insult to hound lovers.
Total Morons. If you took the time to read his story, it was all lies. His family could care less about him. Finally, we get Rudy out of that sick environment!

Rudy became ward of the Campbell County Pound yesterday. A tight group of Rudy lovers has been working to get him out. He was picked up by an all breed rescue yesterday and is being vetting and cared for financially by Arlene of BASSET HOUND RESCUE LEAGUE, INC

I will be working on a transport that will head north this upcoming weekend. We will go through OH and PN. Will you please check back and see if you can help? I will have the route up very soon. Arlene already has a few folks interested in our Rudy. Hang on Rudy, we are looking for a real family for you. I cannot think of a more deserving hound!

More Rudy updates later….Cat, Chaps and Emma

This sounds like a nightmare for the poor guy, I watched the video of Rudy. I started crying, we just lost our 11 1/2yr old Basset Baxter to cancer and didn’t know he had it. Rudy looks so much like him. I wish that I could help, we also have Ernie, a 12yr old Basset. We are currently looking at two a male and female Basset in TN. We have a home visit today from Ohio Basset Rescue. If that adoption dosen’t work out I can speak with my husband about possibly fostering or adpoting Rudy.

I don’t understand some people. What a handsome young man. He’ll find a loving home for sure with the network you’ve put tgether, Cat. And he deserves it. Thanks to everyone who can help this guy.

Cat, thank you for all you and everone else is doing to help this guy. Right now I am fostering (for the first time) Milburnthefoster for 4The Hounds who believe me has issues of his own. He’s either headed for greatness in OEBE status, or I’ll have a stroke before he finds his forever home, not sure which! Anyway, wish I could do more for this guy, (I’m in Oklahoma) buut please kep us posted.

I am glad that Rudy is out of that horrible environment. I wish these people could be fined or something.

Poor Rudy this is such an ordeal for a dog to go through.

Keep us updated. I tried to talk my husband into getting Rudy when he was in doggy jail before, but he wasn’t ready yet. Now we have Mudge…he would have a heart attack if i brought home another one! I sure hope Rudy gets a good home!
