Chaps retains his status as TEACHER’S PET!

Howllo Fellow Hound and Teacher’s Pet Lovers! OMG, I cannot be more proud of our Chaps. He is definitely the star in any reading I do. I arrived to the school an hour early so I could walk the big guy. His presence was felt by all of the kids coming to school and it was electric! You should have seen all of the Mom and Dads driving in pointing and smiling at our boy! I really like to arrive early so the kids can see him. It is kind of like a, “sighting”! It is too cute how many kids tell me how they saw Chaps before they got to the reading.

Here I am giving the dog safetly lesson prior to the reading.

Notice the mats they are sitting on because it comes into play later!

Here is Chaps being a good boy right before the reading.

Look at this little girl. She dressed up in her finest dog jumper. OMG! I loved this dress. It totally reminded me of one of my favorite dresses I had at her age.

OK, now for the mats. After the kids left Chaps went to work. Look at him. He totally rolled his body on mats where the kids were sitting. I think it was for Emma! He wanted to share with his best friend!

He loves kids so much and he wanted their smell all over him. Can you believe how sweet he is?

Chaps never ceases to amaze me.

When he got home he stood like a statue while Emma smelled him from nose to tail. I am convinced he did that rolling for Emma.

They just played and played when he got home. He was so full of himself!

More rolling on the mats later…..Cat, Chaps and Emma

P.S. My dearest friend Lisa went with me. I could not do it without her. I love you Lisa! Thank you so much. What would I do without you?

OMG OMG Those pictures are PRICELESS. What a regal gentleman Chaps is. So nice and calm. I’m jealous I wasn’t in that classroom.

I never would have thought that he was rolling on the maps to bring the smell back to Emma – but what else could it be?

Again, Cat, you and the kids just ROCK. Way to go.

Candy! It was so much fun. The only thing that would have been better is if you were with us!

    We love you!~

Chaps wanted Emma to know that he was not at the vet. I have to get her out more and into some schools of her own. She is just so dang wild around kids! I am going to work on that.

Chaps is NOT just a government official or politican. Chaps is a statesman! Chaps is an excellent example for everyone on how to behave. I wish I could go on these outings and bring Slinky. Slinky is very gentle and very social.

    Do you ever bring Emma?

I am working on Emma. She does not sit still and jumps on all of the kids. We will get her in on the fun soon.

Emma is just saying hello. She could be an official greater. Slinky does the same, but I think she is looking for pets/treats and attention.

Awesome!! Chaps is truly one of a kind. His spirit is one in a million. Who wouldn’t love that face? I wish I was in that class. Man those kids are lucky, they got to meet my favorite hollywood star….Mayor Chaps.

Josh – it was so funny. Chaps was sitting pretty close to the kids on the front row and he let out a huge sneeze. All of the kids were grossed out and loved it!

    LOL
