Hello Blog – please don’t be mad at me!
Howllo Fellow Hound and missing my blog lovers! It may be a bit presumptuous of me to think anyone missed us, but we missed you! The whirlwind started on Wednesday afternoon when my sister from Atlanta arrived with her two teenage boys.
I picked them up from the airport and the rest is just a total blur!!!! You can see what I mean from the next picture…………..
Just look at Emma’s ears and tail. She went totally bonkers when Henry (on the left) and Ronald arrived at my home.
On the way in from the airport, Henry asked me if I thought that Emma and Chaps would remember them. I told him I did not know. It had been so long since they have been up to visit. It was about 2 years ago that they all came up as a family. (My sis comes up more frequently.)
Teenage boys have a full schedule you know, much to Emma and Chaps’s chagrin!
Well, Emma answered the question immediately. I have to tell you dear readers that she went absolutely, over the moon, crazy. She was screaming so loud, with her mouth wide open, that I thought that she would get lock jaw!
Then she calmed down from pure exhaustion.
Chaps went crazy, but no where near the exhibition that Emma portrayed. OMG! The humans were a bit teary eyed.
More fun later……….Cat, Chaps and Emma
I missed you Cat! And Chaps and Emma!! All the kids look so happy!!
Enjoy your visit with your family!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
I think its really cute how Emma went crazy with the boys showing up. She is such a doll.
Hope you had a Super Thanksgiving.
Awww!!! I think the bassets remember kids a lot better than adults. Yay for a happy Emma.
Enjoy your family and yes I did miss you guys!!!!
I may not post everyday BUT I love to read your blog!

I think that is super cute of Emma and Chaps to get all excited!
We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It sure looks like Emmers and Chappers did.
Hugs,
Kip, Gus, Bonnie and Charlie
I don’t post very often either, but I REALLY missed reading about you, and the “kids”! I can’t seem to get my day started off right til I see what you are all up to! I DO hope you had a howling good Thanksgiving !! I can’t wait to read more stories and see more beautiful Basset pictures. Cat, you’re the BEST! I love your stories and pictures, they make me smile ALL DAY LONG !!
Thank you for that! 🙂
Ah, thanks dear readers for all of the nice comments. It really warms the souls. My sis and her kids went back to Atlanta yesterday. I think the girlfriends are getting antsy! LOL – I thought the cell phones were going to catch fire with all of the texting. hehehe
I think the two boys enjoy being Basset Slaves. I am Emma and Chaps enjoyed reminding them of the attention they have missed. No matter how many treats or cuddles Bassets get, they always make you feel that they have not gotten enough love.
