Grandpa is not doing well…..
Howllo Fellow Hound and wondering about us lovers????
Well, things are not going too good in bassethoundtown. Grandpa is suffering and very sick. I have been very busy with Grandma doing this and doing that. Grandpa took a fall a few days ago.
The kids know something is up.
Chaps is so funny and sweet. He knows I love when he tries to sit up and he does this when I am rushing around. This photo is hard to see but I tried to capture it!
Then my Mom came into my office and he tried to do it again. It is really rare!
I am thinking that he knows that his grandpa is ailing and my Mom and I are rushing around. He is so sweet to try and comfort us. He is the best boy in the world. His middle name is the same as his Grandpas – Wayne!
Poor Grandpa……….
I will keep you guys posted. Take care of yourselves. We love you!

Cat…I am so sorry to hear that your Dad is ill…just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Chap is a wonder dog…the best medicine a human can have is “Hound Love”

Thanks guys. It is really sad. Grandpa has many more problems than just falling. He has diabetes. He is also in kidney failure.

I had a basset hound, George, that was put down in 1980. A most beautiful dog. I love basset hound sites, and I am grateful to my friend Angel who posts her pics regularly.
I was ten when George woke up paralyzed. It is not happy any time our animals are suffering. I hope Grandpa stays peaceful
