Want to see our 2004 Holiday Card?

Howllo Fellow Hound and wanting to see our 2004 Holiday Card! It is really an all time favorite! I sure hope you like it!

It was the first card that I did after I rescued Chaps and Emma. I refer to rescuing them because Chaps was living in a breeding, show dog kennel very lonely and Emma was the runt of her litter. Prior to picking up Chaps I asked the breeders what his favorite toy was, and they said that he had never had a toy.

Well, our Chaps loves toys now!!!!!!!

You have to click on this picture to get WOWED!

Chaps was so lonely, living a very sad life. He was in a small kennel with no toys and a small mat for a bed. The enclosure was a metal building that shook with the TX weather. Thank God I got him out of that environment.

When my Mom and I saw him our hearts sank. We could not gather him up quick enought and get him out. The kennel was clean but very sad. It looked liked a pound.

I had come to get Emma as well. Her breeder told me she had bad eyes, but it meant nothing. I wondered if she was full of it. I was not going to leave without Chaps or her. We made a bee line out the door with both of them.

Peace on Earth………Good will to hounds!

More later…….Cat, Chaps and Emma

It was fate that the three of you are together. Chaps and Emma are two very lucky hounds to have such a good life; as are all the hounds whose people visit this site.

Luv the card – such a regal couple!

    The card is quite beautiful.

I thought you got Chaps and Emma from a breeder in Texas.

I know Chaps and Emma are happy to be with you and your family, and I know that Chaps and Emma bring so much joy into so many peoples lives.

I did get them from a breeder in TX. They claimed to be reputable, but I think they are more back yard. They should have never told me that Emma’s bilateral abnormal drainage angles meant nothing. She was totally pre-pre-disposed to glaucoma from birth. A reputable breeder would have known that. After I told them that Emma had glaucoma, they breed her parents again. That is just down right wrong and evil.

The card is great! Those gorgeous hounds of yours are so lucky to share their life with you!!

It’s so hard to know who the “reputable” breeders are…I find anyway. I can’t believe they bred Emma’s parents again, knowing of her glaucoma! That’s quite shocking!

I know Mary – These are breeders that show on the AKC BHCA level. After I told them about Emma, they basically hung up on me after I would not agree to lie for them. They paid a few small bills and I have never heard back from them. Cowards!

After all is said and done I realized that I was taken by a high class back yard breeder.

What is amazing about that is the fact that people like me try to avoid puppy mills. Unfortunately, they are presenting themselves as responsible breeders.

I was hood winked. Plain and simple. BoBac Bassets is to blame. Steer clear of this breeder. They will do you wrong. Make sure you do your home work folks! E-mail me if you have any questions. I am in the know! Cat
