Our Boy Homer checks in!
Howllo Fellow Hound and Homer Lovers! Joni is Homer’s Mommy and she is doing really well learning how to send pictures for all of our viewing pleasure!
Our Homer is doing so great. Just look at him lounging on his couch!
Who’s the cutest boy? Homer’s Mommy reports that his brothers are in love with him. One is still a bit mad about Homer stealing food, but look at this little guy grabbing Homer’s ear. Joni which brother is that?
This is just toooooo cute. Also, Joni has some really cute kids that live next door. They love to visit the dogs. Looks like fun!
Joni, thanks so much for sending these. Homer looks so good. What a wonderful family he has now and I am sure he completed the circle!

Joni – Homer looks like he is eating up all the love. Hardly looks like the same guy Cat introduced us to be Christmas. Must be all your lov’n. What an angel you are. You’re doing a great job with the pictures – these are priceless.

Hi Joni…..Homer looks sooooo Good! He doesn’t even look like the same dog. I rescued my Abby and she was in very poor condition when I brought her home. She was a year old and only weighed 28 lbs……she now weighs 50 and looks like a different basset too! Bless you for giving Homer a home — it looks like he is now blessing YOU and his brothers with HIS love. Thanks for updating us and sending the photos. We all feel like he is such a part of our lives!!! (and now YOU are too)
Homer is looking well-loved and well-fed!!!!
I know, I cannot believe how quickly he turned around. He is now a beautiful flower!
Oh, I do miss himz! So do the peeps at the vet office where he boarded.

Cat and Joni:
You are both the best and these pictures prove it. Thanks to both of you for turning a potential tragedy into such a happy story!

That is Pally that Homer is playing with in the picture. Pally is 4 and had back surgery last summer. He is good as gold now. They can’t wait till spring so that they can really enjoy their backyard. Homer is just finishing off my turkey dinner. I am teaching him to share with his little brudders by taking turns eating the goodies. He’s learning but it’s taking time.
Bruce and Gretchen:
Thank you so much for the comment. I do think back on the day when I got the phone call about Homer. I actually deleted his Petfinder photo the other day. He look was so blank and sad.
Oh he is one lucky guy! It is going to be so much fun to keep up with the big guy!
Cat
