Can I tell you a story? Emma’s Mommy is named Dawn’s First Light. I was so inspired by her Mommy that I named Emma in honor of her Mommy.
Emma means:
EARLY MORNING MISTY AIR (aka EMMA)
Can you guess who Emma is in this litter? LOL!
We hope Dawn is doing OK in her life.

Cat…saw your comment in the tweets column and was hoping your Dad was doing better today. Sounds like both your boys are having a rough time of it lately.
I know with the stress and worry your must be exhausted. Just know you are always in our thoughst and prayers.
Poor Dawn. BoBac does not care. I am learning so much. Show breeders like BoBac are scary.
How well I know….and the heartach!!! My poor beloved Sadie…Sweet dreams my little sweetheart. You will forever be in our hearts.

I hope Grandpa is on the mend and Chaps too. What is the problem with them and his coumadin? Tomorrow Doody Master is coming to clean upo the yard from all the poops, now that the snow is mostly melted!!!There must be a ton of it. Homer is a prolific pooper. I am still under the weather and have resorted to wearing sunglasses inside to try and get rid of my headache. I think I have the flu. Hopefully Chaps and Emma will get a walk today.

I’ll have to read the other posts, before I can understand what is being discussed here; but I think Emma mom is sooooooooo beautiful and I would guess that Emma is the 3rd puppy from the front paw of her mother.
Good Guess Maureen! That was Emma’s sister who passed away shortly after that picture was taken. She had a heart defect.
What BJ and I were talking about is the Breeder where Emma came from. They run a breeding business and not very well I might add. BJ’s hound, Sadie was Emma’s sister’s pup. She passed away very young from an auto immune disorder.
I know of too many sick bassets in their line to not be concerned.
