We are having a weather event…..
Howllo Fellow basset hound and Chaps lovers: We all know how much our boy hates storms. Well, we are under a severe thunder storm warning and a tornado watch.
I am at my computer typing and I just took these pictures.
Anytime our boy get scared he gets under my desk. It is his scaredee cat area!
This is exactily what I am seeing right now as I type. Poor boy. Don’t cha just want to kiss that face? Hold on a second. Kiss, Kiss………
More updates later………Cat, Chaps and Emma
I don’t think he’s scared, but he knows how important his safety is to Basset Hound Town, so he must keep himself safe, secure and protected.
Poor Chappers. That picture reminds me of the pics I’ve seen of school kids hiding under there desks in the early 60’s, in case we had a nuclear attack. Before my time, but my MUCH older brother told about it!
Maybe Chaps was just practicing an emergency alert drill!

OMG Cat…..I am going to have to take a picture of Colby Chaps when he’s sitting at my feet and looking up at me like Chaps was. They look so much alike. You will see….it’s the look they give you out of those big eyes. Next time I will capture it. I hope the day wasn’t too bad for our big boy.
Candace,
You are talking about the “Duck and Cover” drills. There were even movies about ducking under your desk and taking cover for protection.
I never figured out how wood would protect you from a nuclear blast.
I was in school during Duck and Cover! He does look like that. I am ROFLOL!
Hehehehehe. Oh my gosh, so cute!!!!! 😉
