Dreaming of Spring………..
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Dreaming of Spring Lovers:
I see the faintest little pink buds on my cherry tree out front. It had me dreaming of spring. I thought I would share this picture of our Mayor about 4 years ago. Check out who is looking through the window!
How handsome can you get? Little Emma’s turn was next.
We were going to a pet fair at our local park and she had on her disco tube top. She dazzled the onlookers with her beauty.
Also, that day, Chaps was overcome by a herd of Newfoundlands. We were just standing there, minding our own business and a group from Newfoundland rescue came up behind us and asked me question. It was the most bizarre encounter. All of the sudden I looked around and the Mayor was in the middle of about 8 Newfoundlands. I am kicking myself for not taking a picture. If you don’t know the breed, they are huge! Here is an example picture
Chaps stood just like a statue until they moved on. It was pretty cool.

I have a great story about a Newfoundland Dog. When I have a few minutes, I will type it. It is a bit long.
Those are great pics. Those two sure know how to “vogue” – strike a pose!
We have a regular on the drool boards who has a pack of Newfs and a basset. Floyd loves his newf siblings, despite the size difference they all get on incredibly well. You should pop over to the boards and take a look at some of the pics of them together.
Hahahaha – a pack of Newfs! How cool! I called them a herd because they were so huge, like cows! Anyway, what was really cool was that I did not hear one thing. It was like they glided into our space. Just beautiful!
I will absolutely go look at the pictures. I think I have seen them on YouTube as well???
