back-shot-of-chaps-and-emma

They try hard to please you.

We were just wondering? Who reads our blog?

We try hard every day to provide you with topics that please. We are just wondering if you enjoy it? OK?

Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

P.S. We thank our loyal readers. We were just wondering about the others? Are you out there?

P.P.S. I know you are – about 700 people read us each day! I just don’t know who you are. That is the way a blog works. LOL

P.P.P.S – I am such a cry baby

Hi guys, I certainly do not mean my loyal readers like you guys. I mean the 700 or so other folks who read. I think I was just in a weird mood last night. I always wonder why some don’t comment. I mean not every day for the love of God, but just once every so often. Or even e-mail me privately and let me know what they think. Heck, I even ran into a lady on the bus in Atlanta going to the airport that came up to me sat by me and told me that she loved my website and was on it every day for years. OK? Thanks, but I would have loved to hear that years ago. Now it sounds like I am complaining about being liked. OH my, I better just shut up and keep blogging. I have some cool old pictures of Lily I want to post today.
Love, Cat, Chap and Emma, trying to keep the complaining down! LOL

I don’t understand either why some people would follow a blog and not post(head scratch). Maybe they are just shy BUT if you can say hi to someone in a bus well who can figure people out LOL!

I don’t think I would call it complaining but just venting or wondering out loud!

    Hugs

I think a lot of folks are shy. I hope my forum takes off. It might be a struggle because of stuff like this.

It was so funny. That lady on the bus saw my baseball cap and keep staring at me so funny. Finally it got too much for her and she had to ask! LOL!

i check in faithfully daily (and sometimes more than once a day too!). there are some blogs i read and enjoy but i would never think of commenting on..and yet there are others i would…so maybe other people are like that too…it’s not that the blog isn’t friendly or anything maybe its just a personal thing.

    how’s gandpa doing?

i just love emma. (chaps too..can’t forget you big guy)…a friend of a friend just got a puppy sho they found out is deaf and i will be helping to calm her down and train the puppy…i am so excited (i have worked with deaf puppies before)…it’s always rewarding to me toi see people realize that having a disabled dog is not the end of the world and that it can open you up to whole new avenues of awareness.

anyway love the blog. now you need a line of bassethound town t shirts

Hey Lois – Grandpa is doing great! His grandson was invited to USNA for the weekend. He is very close to being accepted. He is busting with pride. I think it is very good medicine.

I would love to hear more about the deaf puppy. There is an entire world waiting out there for that pup and the owners. I know that Emma opened up a brand new one for me!

I have wanted to do t-shirts for years. They are on my list of goal items. I would have done it by now if it were not for economy. I am a bit behind meeting my goals, but I am pacing myself.

SK – you are very nice! I sure wish I had some! LOL

    Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

usna is a great place…my brother (the jerk) graduated from there..it is a great opportunity…lots of hard work but so many chances. good luck!

i have 2 friends with deaf dogs…and have always said if the opportunity came along i would take a deaf puppy in a heartbeat. once you bond with them and train them you have the best dog in the whole world…one of the dogs you can talk to in whole sentences with sign language. it is very cool.

i’ll keep everyone up to date…i meet the puppy on tuesday…its a baby chocolate lab named coco.

LOL lois! I love how we all connect with comments. Thanks for the good luck comment for my nephew. Just out of wondering….When did your brother graduate? My sister is freaking out waiting to hear if her son gets in.

I cannot wait to hear more about the deaf pup!

This is a question to anyone reading this comment. Keep in mind I don’t have many. This just came to mind?????

I was just wondering and this is just a question. If you had to have a blind pup or a deaf pup which one would you want.

    Hummmmmmmmm???????????

Just now I received 2 comments via e-mail that stated how much they love bassethoundtown. OK – I responded. The odd thing was that they were responding to specific posts on the blog. The comments were great and fun! Why not post them as comments?

That is all I am saying. I love your e-mails don’t get me wrong. I have been on the net for 5 years. I have never allowed an e-mail address to be compromised. NEVER

    Anyway, what ever. No problem.

Emma just bumped into me and Chaps wants to go to bed. Nighty night!

jerk brother graduated in 82…went marines…was in force recon and then left in 89 or 90.

the sign my friend used when her dog (named “little shit” as in you little shit you) would mess up was a take off of a “too the moon alice” from the honeymooners.

i was helping to watch a blind dog once with a friend of mine and he asked me if i let the dog walk around off leash. i told him “no…the dog is blind (like duh?)”…he said he did but it walked into a tree while it was outside. i’m thinking my friend was not the sharpest tool in the shed…ya think?

personally since i have had more experience with the deafies i would say i would rather have a deafie. but like they say…there is nothing a deaf dog can’t do but hear. (fill in blind dog and see). either way i think once the bond is there you get a great dog.

she says watching brain depleted buster run head first into a wall while carrying his empty soda bottle.

the only think a brain empty dog can’t do is think? somehow it doesn’t have the same ring to it…maybe his should be “iffen he only had a brain!”

    Cat,

Some people just aren’t comfortable writing and corresponding. These are think I love, believe it or not in many ways I’m a shy person; however, I am really confident in posting and writing. I never liked anything such as raising my hand and answering a question or going to the board/map. I get nervous just thinking about it.

Bruce here. I read about you, Chaps and Emma everyday, several times a day. Safe to say I’m addicted. Thanks for all you do.

Hey thanks Bruce! That is such a nice compliment. We love to report from bassethoundtown! The Mayor is hard at work when he is not sleeping or eating 80% of his day. LOL
