I think Chaps pulled a muscle in his neck???

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps’s Lovers!!!
I am a bit distressed tonight because I think Chaps has pulled a muscle or strained his back. When he moves a certain way he cries. I cleaned his ears this morning and he was so mad and sad. I had to do it. I wonder if he pulled one of his neck muscles when I was working on him???
He did yelp when tried to clean his left ear. I guess it could be an ear infection. I thought he was just mad at me, but now I think he is in pain. This picuture was taken before the dreaded cleaning. He ate is dinner OK, but not as good as usual. I worry just as much as he does.
Maybe I am part basset hound.

Hey Megan – He is doing much better, but I still don’t know what it is. He cried a few times last night. I am going to inspect the inside of his mouth today. I am sure he will be fine. Thanks for asking! Hope you and the hounds are well as well!
