Our Homer is doing so great. Just look at him lounging on his couch!

Who’s the cutest boy? Homer’s Mommy reports that his brothers are in love with him. One is still a bit mad about Homer stealing food, but look at this little guy grabbing Homer’s ear. Joni which brother is that?

This is just toooooo cute. Also, Joni has some really cute kids that live next door. They love to visit the dogs. Looks like fun!

More Later….Cat, Chaps and Emma

Hey friends! I’m alive………

February 3rd, 2009 - 10:10 am KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound and wondering where I am lovers! Well, maybe I shouldn’t go that far! Anyway, I have been around and slowly digging us out of the ice. It is just crushing how much ice we have.

Can you see the Mayor in the window? Of course he is worried sick that I am outside. He reminds me of a shut in. Heck, I guess he is a shut in!

This is an ice encrusted tree across the street from me. Look how it is leaning. It looks like a huge pink cotton candy!

When the sun hits that tree it just glistens and gleams. It is just breath taking. I guess I should have taken a video. Also it makes a noise like it is singing. I guess it’s nature’s music.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my ice story!

Hopefully, I don’t have too many more this season.

More about non ice issues later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

Dreaming of a Sunday walk…sigh

February 1st, 2009 - 10:10 am KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound and Sunday walking lovers: Chaps, Emma and I were just dreaming of talking a walk. Actually, last night I did dream of Chaps running across a field towards me. I know it was because we are so cooped up. I wonder if the field was fenced in? OMG was it a nightmare? LOL.
I kept yelling, “Burger Boy, Burger Boy”.

Anyway, I ran across these pictures I took several years ago during one of our Sunday morning walks. My small town has about 20 or more churches. It is actually amazing if one stops and thinks about it. They are just beautiful and when the bells are ringing it makes for a magical walk.

Here we are at the Catholic Church which has a sanctuary that features Mary. It makes for a great resting spot.

Emma was fascinated. This was when she still could see.

Chaps was captivated. Just look at his face!

Chaps is looking at the large field in back of the Church where there is a huge vegetable garden. There are loads of rabbits and deer back there. I think he sees a cotton tail. Right after this picture he started howling and as much as I think he sounds better than the people singing, we took off like a herd of turtles.

I can’t wait to take the kids on one of our beloved-ed Church walks. We miss our favorite spots.

More Sunday morning musings later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
