Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and wondering who won the photo contest for the Yellow Pages and the 1000 dollars for the House of Puddles?
CHAPS WAYNE RUDERT!
The phone call came in moments ago and Chaps is the 1000 dollar prize winner and the Yellow Page Cover Hound for Northern Kentucky. Chaps has been invited for a professional photo shoot this Sunday.
I am so excited I can barely stand it. I bet Marilyn of House of Puddles will be as well. Chaps is donating the entire amount to the elders of HOP.
I thinks this warrants a talk show circuit tour. I bet I can get him on all the local channels, newpapers, magazines and the like. Do you think we can go National? OMG am I a stage mother?
I can’t wait to tell Chaps. I will as soon as he wakes up.

Well, folks this has just been the best high ever! I have never won anything in my entire life and for this to be our first win is just heaven. Pure joy. To have such a special group pulling for Chaps and the HoPpers means the world to very many folks and hounds. I wish I could drive the check up to Marilyn, buy a bunch of balloons and ring her door bell lke that that nut with the Publisher’s Clearing House! LOL
