Chaps is a Super Star, just ask his Mom and Grandma!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Super Star Lovers! We had so much fun today. It was just bassetabulous! As most of his fans know, today was the Mayor’s professional photo shoot to be on the cover of the KY Yellow Pages. The anticipation was palpable as Chaps was loaded into his chauffeur (me) driven basset hauling vehicle.
We headed off towards his appointment and we were only about an hour early. Can you say excited? Here is Grandma heading for the door. We walked him prior to his shoot so he could be very comfortable in the potty department. (It worked)!
The photographer was all set up and we did not waste any time. I got him right up on his pedestal with a kiss for luck and we were on our way! He’s only just begun………
Then the magic started! Just take a look at this pro!
I was not a bit nervous or acting like a stage Mom! Who me?
Lord have mercy, get that lady a chill pill!
Chaps did so much better than I did! The photographer said how good he was and he was very impressed by his patience.
I finally calmed down a bit as well. I cannot thank Grandma enough for capturing all of these great pictures. This was the final one of the photo shoot. I just adore it. The professional captured about 150 images. I saw most of them and they were stunningly pawsome!
When we got home Chaps plowed through his SWAG!
Our boy got all kinds of goodies from the photo shoot but I think he was too tired to enjoy them!

Good Job Chaps and all who supported him in the contest! We can all pat ourselves on the back! It was a town effort! Our Mayor loves each and everyone of you!
Emma was thrilled when we got home. She had been with her Grandpa all day. It was perfect, they both like to sleep a lot!

STAGE MOM!!!! It looks like Chaps represented BHT residents royally. So do you get to have any of the pictures? When will the phone book come out? Did Chaps sign any autographs? When will he be adressing the town about his experiences? We NEED to know.

I will work on that! The takes would be from the professional and I would have to pay for it. I might want to do just that. I have his card! LOL
OMG – those pics were amazing. Chaps is just a professional – must be all his years in public office. Cat, you just did what any other mom would do for her kid.
What kind of swag did Chaps get? Rolex watch, iphone, dinner at Spago? I’m just relieved that we would see any stores in Puples magazine about any “behind the scene” temper tantrums from the star. LOL
Great job, you guys. Bailey and I will be hurrying home from work Monday to catch you radio show – otherwise, we may have to catch the podcast.

Mr. Mayor! You look divine!! I think the biggest problem for the phone book people will be trying to decide which amazing photo to use! I think they should just put up a giant billboard and keep rotating through the 150 pictures!
I can’t wait to see the phone book cover, be sure and post it; but, of all the photos, I love the one of Chaps in the back of the van. It’s my favorite.
Also, have the photographer send some of Chaps’ proofs to GQ for the cover of their magazine. Chaps is quite a handsome hunk, I know they’ll be interested.

I cannot tell you how nervous I was. My face was flushed and I was short of breath. I was panting along with Chaps. I need to learn to calm down! breathe, just breathe.
