Chaps is complying with total bed rest!

March 22nd, 2009 - 6:06 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound and following doctor’s orders lovers!!!!!!!!!

Even though the doctor’s orders for complete bed rest were for Emma, Chaps feels a need to comply as well. He is such a good boy, acquiescing to Emma’s every need. For the love of all things good and grand the sacrifice must be met……….

I would have widened the shot to include Emmers, but she was under her blankee. It was nice and warm for her back. We are progressing well and our friend Sandy told us that it might be a few more days until we see improvement. However, I might be seeing a tiny bit tonight. I have her tucked back under her blankee and we are getting ready to watch a movie. I have my remote and it is time to scan ONDemand! Yes!

More reviews later……..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

P.S. If you click on the picture you will see that wrought iron gate. The letters at the top are C E L C N

That means, Chaps, Emma, Lily, Chloe and Natalie.

I love Rosalind Russell’s character, Slyvia Fowler, the best. What a horrible women. Who is your favorite character in the original “The Women”.

Also, I think Chaps is resting next to “Our Emma” to make sure she doesn’t get lonely.

I’ve been thinking about the problem of Emma falling off ramps/steps/etc, and remembered a sling that I had seen that can be used for arthritic dogs, etc who might need a little assistance on ramps and such. I found one at

This would maybe provide security for Emma and for you and Grandma too.

I love this idea! I am going to order one right now. Thank you so much. This will be perfect for us. I think it will make Emma feel so much more secure.

Again – thanks for thinking of us.

Maureen, I just loved all of them in different ways. That movie was pure perfection. When I saw that they had re-made it I knew that was a huge mistake.

That bathtub scene with Joan Crawford has to be one of my favorites.

Hi Cat – glad to be useful. Since Emma is blind, it seemed like the sling would give her protection and also a sense of her physical boundary (I like that it’s so soft, inexpensive and machine washable too!). Hope it helps the beautiful Emma.

I recently saw the remake of “The Women” and yes I was very disappointed. With all the talented actresses in it, it still left you flat.
