Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and cute card lovers! I just had to post this very sweet card from a resident of basset hound town. Her name is Hannah!

Dear Hannah, we have your card hanging in the basset hound town art gallery which is in the kitchen. Your card has a place of honor in the refrigerator section of the gallery! This is Emma’s favorite place in the world!

We love you sweet girl!

A certain little girl here is very excited to see her note and card here in BHT! So glad it arrived in time for the celebration! We are enjoying the Lily book very much.

A certain little girl feels the same way in basset hound town! Emma loves brightly colored balloons! Hannah did a great job with the coloring! We love our new refrigerator art gallery piece!

Love, Cat, Chaps and the birthday girl!

Hannah staged a birthday picnic today for Emma. All basset hounds (most of them stuffed) and one spaniel (not stuffed) were invited in Emma’s honor.

(PS – she did all the writing on the note by herself).

Oh how we would have loved to be at that birthday picnic! Emma would have loved that.

I did want to mention that the writing on the art piece was very beautiful.

Hannah – your skills are fantastic and very beautiful.

I love perfecting my writing as you can see on the envelope I sent to you.

You should be very proud of your writing skills.

    I consider your skills ART!

Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma – The birthday girl!

I think Hannah writing is excellent but her artistic talent is superb. I especially love the blue colored ballon.

What a wonderful thought, a picnic, to celebrate Emma’s birthday. I am sure everyone had a wonderful time.

    What’s the spaniel’s name?

Maureen – We rescued a Sussex Spaniel named Nell, in August 2007. A breeder had kept her in a crate in a barn after she stopped having puppies. She weighed about 30 pounds (should be closer to 45- 50). Her skin was raw and infected, and she was missing part of her right ear. She’ll be 10 this year, and is healthy and happy and one of the sweetest canines I have ever known.
