Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and baby robin lovers: Well, I think today is the day that the babies are going to fly away and it is none too soon for Chaps.
Chaps is none to happy about all of this. I have to keep the dog door in because at any time one of the babies could fall on the porch and the Mayor might like a little snack.
The Mayor has been using the front potty area. Hang on I might try to get another picture. It looks like one of them is flapping.
Nope – false alarm.
I will have a Paul update soon. The pound does not open until 10:00. This has been a really long 7 days.
Hopefully Paul will be flying his coop today with me!

How precious and sad at the same time to see the babies fly away. It’s been fun watching them through your eyes. Tell Chaps to hang in there, we all have to assit nature sometimes! Keep us updated on Paul…..I really hope the Outlaws can ‘break him out’ today (this morning). I just don’t want the owner to call. Will the Outlaws come and get him or will you have to transport him?
I know Chaps’ routine should not be interferred with, but he his being a gentlemen and statemen all the same.
