Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Nosey Neighbor Lovers! Why is it that no one like this ever moves next door to me? I think I would pass out if I could see these neighbors spying on me.

These are Cindy’s Hounds, Jethro, Rugs, Oz and Harriet.

MY KIND OF NOSEY NEIGHBORS

More peering eyes later………I bet they can smell a treat from a mile away! Cat, Chaps and Emma

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a real basset hound town. You could only live there if you had at least one basset hound. That’s my kind of neighbors! Can you imagine the howl fest?!

The best part is that Bassets aren’t gossips. A little girl in my building thinks that Bassets have long ears to keep secrets in them. You can tell a Basset anything and they won’t breathe a word.

I know this is true of Slinky.

Hey Sandy! The Mayor would be a fantastic neighbor. Emma would cry until you gave her a belly rub! All in all, a pretty good deal for everyone!

Great Idea OneMom! Does anyone know if there’s a city called Basset or Basset Hound Town in the U.S.? That would be interesting to know huh? I’d love it if all my neighbors had hounds too! A real Bassethound town would be a dream come true.

How did you find all those so quick? I was looking at a list of US towns during work but didn’t have much time to look. Didn’t see any! Of course I was spelling it with one “t” too. I like the last one too! At least it’s spelled correctly. I wonder where is Bassett Texas? I’m going to look that one up since I’m in Texas. Thanks for sharing all those cities! Cool!

Bassett Texas is up by Texarkana! I’ve driven through there quite a few times. Even going to the Michigan Waddle! Don’t know how I missed it.

Cindy, actually I went to weather.gov and typed in Basset without a state. It then gave me a list of all the towns in the United States with that name (or some form of it) that I could choose to see the weather forecast for.
