Chaps is back to work:)

June 5th, 2009 - 7:07 am KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and back to work lovers: Chaps felt that it was important for his fellow residents to see that he is back to work, sleeping in his cube. He is like any other world leader that has to show his face after an illness or an injury.

As you can see, his work is piling up. Work waits for no hound! Ah, I am sure I can chip in and plow through his back log. I am a faithful servant and tail maiden!

This morning his tail looks a little better. He slept through the night just fine (and is sleeping through the morning). LOL

More updates from the cube later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

The Mayor is so conscientious and caring he is such a fine example to use all; but, he must not over exert himself. He will need extra sleep and treats to keep up his strength.

Such devotion and dedication the Mayor has to show up for work when he is ailing. Poor Chaps!

Yippee!! Glad the mayor is doing better. Although, sleeping in his cubicle reminds me of some of my co-workers LOL

At least he can take it easy over the weekend.

Wow, I haven’t gotten in here in a few days and what excitement you’ve been having at Bassethoundtown. Well, not excitement you’d want to have that’s for sure. Us here in the Doyle household are sending lots and lots of healing drool. It’s hot down here in Texas and the hounds are eating ice so they’re drooling a lot! Lets hope and pray that everybody stays happy and healthy after this episode.

What a brave basset! I hope you’ve had a restful weekend and are on your way to feeling better, Mr. Mayor!

The Mayor wishes to thank all of his resident for their well wishes. His tail is feeling much better and healing nicely.

He loves the extra attention. He marches right into the hospital room (kitchen) and lays in position for his bandage and warm compress procedures. It is too cute.
