Is this too delicate to blog about?

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and wondering if this is too delicate of a subject lovers: It’s about Chaps lifting his leg to go sprinkle. He never does this at home. EVER! He is a squatter.
But, put that harness on and go out the door and those short legs are lifting as high as a basset hound leg can go. I won’t go as far as showing a picture but this is the Mayor at the park in front of his favorite tree!
I just find it so cute that the Mayor is “Mr. Man” when he goes on a walk or out in public.
I was just wondering if any of his boy followers do the same thing?
Am I revealing too much about our Mayor?

Nah, not too delicate. Jethro does the same thing. At home he does this little slow lunge and turns one back foot under and has the tail straight up. When he’s not home he lifts. I think it’s got something to do with marking. Showing their masculinity…like you said. Pretty funny huh?
By the way Cat…have you seen the Hounds Haven Basset Rescue site? I thought of you when I saw the logo!!!

Kerry! even the sprinkle aspects of like? I guess so. I had to reveal the Mayor’s “short leg comings” He is just to funny not to! He gets all Mr. Man and hikes that leg like he is the best thing in the animal kingdom! It is so cute. That chunky hind leg and his face. I know, I am going over board now! LOL! Just like a Mom! LOL

Cat, I actually got that link from the HOP newsletter that was sent out yesterday. I’m not sure if they’re new or not but Marilyn may know.
Hound Haven Basset Rescue has been around, but they just updated their website. The Nothin’ Butt Bassets was there before. I think they should do a poster or notecards thru CafePress to make some $$. I know droolers would buy. It is so cute and fits bassets to a tee.
