   so if this had been a real thing famous hounds would have materialized or something and tap danced???? but instead its just a warning????

   sorry just had to go there.

   make sure you include the basset from the show emergency…he was famous too

   Lois, what show is that? I love to add famous hounds. I know all of our are, but I don’t know that show????

   Emergency was a show back in the 70’s about two paramedics in a fire station. Randolph Mantooth was one of the paramedics. Anyway, a basset hound was resident dog at the fire house.

   Cat – it was a good show. Randolph Mantooth was in some soap opera, but I don’t know which one. He is gorgeous. I just looked him up and he has a website at RandolphMantooth (dot) com

   emergency…2 firemen/emt’s and 2 dr’s at the hospital (all of course great looking) and nurse dixie mccall…handled all sorts of emergencies and every crisis…without getting too ruffled….

   i know there is a web site for the show…i think the basset was hank? i could be wrong…

   i think it was the first real show to portray emt’s and rescue on tv…really brought that aspect into the forefront of the media…maybe even actually firemen too…i mean there had been dragnet and adam 12 and all the other police shows but i don’t recall too many fire dept shows.

   any way basset pretty much just sat on the couch and did nothing but hey…he was in there.

    LOL I just stummbled across this page. I love the page banner. The dog on the left reminds me so much of my Dixie, I miss her so much 🙂
