Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Eiffel Tower Lovers! About 17 years ago I went to Paris with my sister and her husband. It was all so magical. I could do a bunch of blogs about that trip and I am sure I will in the future but for now………….
Let me tell you about a perfect moment in the Eiffel Tower gift shop. Forget the Tower itself – Forget the men in berets – just focus on the gift shop! I entered and went directly to the men’s section. I love wearing white men’s button down shirts. I thought I was going to faint as I was going through the shirts in a tiny sale section.
I grabbed it like my life depended on it. The dogs are embroidered on the shirt. I still remember that it cost 99 US dollars. Can you believe that? 17 years ago this shirt was 99 dollars on sale? I had to have it.
Who ever designed this shirt knew that the basset hound was top dog! The hound breed is french you know!

Oooh, la, la! What a wonderful shirt, and don’t you just look tres chic in it!!!! I’ve been to Paris and other places in France many times–I could live there {sigh}…What a terrific souvenir–I would have grabbed it as well:)
