Clear as a bell! That is so cool. I think Rugs needs to head to the Late Show with David Letterman for “stupid pet tricks” (funny, the stupid human tricks typically are “stupid”, but the pet tricks are almost always very impressive … just like Rugs!).
Thanks Kerry. He is so shy I probably couldn’t get him to do it on TV. He talks to us all the time at home. And he barks a whole lot and it aggravates Ronald. Especially when Harriet chimes in then she starts howling. Harriet has such a pretty howl and I just have to laugh at her cuz she looks so funny. At a basset hound rescue picnic one time we tried to get Rugs to howl for a contest and he wouldn’t. At home he’ll do it without a problem but he wouldn’t in front of a bunch of people. He’s too silly.
Cindy – our Sophie is becoming a big barker and a talker. She’ll “talk” more to my husband – must be the deeper intonation from his voice, because I can’t get her talking as well.
Poor Rugs, it’s hard to be shy. I’m glad you got a video of him telling you that he loves you!
