Mirror, Mirror on the wall – Who’s the Fairest Hound of All?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Fairest Hound of All Lovers! Well, I think we would all answer this question differently, but I know one hound named Vivian that will answer this question and it is HER!
Vivian shares her beautiful self between two handmaidens, Shelley and Ilene. They are all Jersey girls. Vivian enjoys her time at both homes. However, there is something special that happens when she arrives at Shelley’s home. A full length mirror! Vivian loves to look at her self. Sometime up to 3 times a day she will stare at her beauty. This next photo shows you more of her stunning good looks and why she like to look at herself.
Ah…….Just gorgous. Now, back to the mirror!

I think I am going to get Chaps a full length mirror and see what he thinks. Beauty needs to be seen!

I think Miss Vivian is gorgeous and I don’t blame her for wanting to look at herself. Perhaps Miss Vivian could add to the BHT ear measurement archive?
Kerry – I asked Shelley that same question and sent her the archive link. I would love to have Viv’s measurements. She said that one of her hounds has 11′ ears. WOW!
Isn’t Viv adorable? She has a son named Charlie that looks like Chaps in the face. We think there could be some heritage there somewhere.

i have met miss vivian and she is gorgeous! and so is her son charlie (even is his head does look remarkably like the aflec duck! (trust me…from the side it does) i can’t help it…the first time i met charlie i called it…his name should have been “AFLAC!” and hence forth every thime i see him he gets called that.
anyway miss viv is indeed a sweetheart and has about the lowest clearance i have ever seen on a basset!
that plus she has 2 of the bestest mommies in the whole wide world! they have seen the havco my boys can bring and still say nice things about them…which is just amazing!!!!

I bet Abraham Galinkin’s ears are longer than 11″. Anyway, I know Vivi!!! She is just as sweet as she is barootiful. She loves bellyrubs. 🙂

I sure hope Shelley measures and photographs Abraham’s ears. That would be so great for the archives. I want everyone’s ears in the archives! Come on hounds, it’s for history and preservation of important data!

I don’t think this is just a question of beauty Bassets like to look smart and sharp, and they know they are an example for everyone. Mirrors are a necessity not part of vanity.
Thank you all for all the lovely comments …Please tell me how to measure Abe’s ears and I will oblige..now Vivian’s ears aren’t as long as they look it is just that she has the lowest clearance they look long…LOL
