Lily would do this everyday!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and silly walk lovers:

I just found this video on YouTube of a hound named Max and was reminded of my Lily. She would do this type of walk any time something touched her back. She used to love to get into a walk in closet I had years ago. I was in an odd space and all of the clothes would touch her back as he walked underneath them. It was so cute. She would do it every morning while I was making breakfast. Actually she would do it any time I opened the door. She also loved to do her “stalking” under bushes. Here she is in one of her favorite spots.

It was so cute. When my Dad saw her doing this he would say, “There she goes. Searching for the elusive white rhino”. LOL

Here is Max in the video! Enjoy

More searching for elusive white rhino later…..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

we had a bush in our yard in Michigan that our Maxine loved to do the same thing with. I called it her natural hairbrush. Another thing Maxine would do when standing beside me was purposely whack me with her hip if I was too slow in acknowledging her royal presence. (Don’t know if I mentioned this, but Maxine believed herself to be the Empress of the entire universe!). Silly hounds.

Slinky loves to roll around a high pile carpet. My friends have a new carpet that’s very plush, and Slinky thinks it’s something just for her. She will roll around on her back for hours.

Mr. Mayor, just a note, your son is quite handsome, but he doesn’t hold a candle to you.

I live in the country and Bailey loves to walk along the edge of a cornfield and have the cornstalk leaves scrape along her back. Hard to explain, but she will get a little hind end wiggle as she walks, like the leaves are tickling her. I don’t let her do it very often because the leaves are sharp and I don’t want any eye cuts. It is all I can do to hold her back when we walk by a cornfield!

Maybe Bailey should wear some doggles on her walkies.
