Who loves guinea pigs?
Howllo fellow guinea pig and basset hound lovers! I just had to show you this picture that I found of my sweet guinea pigs. I had guinea pigs since I was about 7 years old. I was obsessed with guinea pigs. I wanted to show my dear readers the last and final guinea pigs I ever had. This was about 17 years ago. It coincides with getting basset hounds.
I could never have a dog where I lived or with my job so I had my pigs. I loved my pigs.
A lot has changed since then, and oh how I love that change. What would I do without my precious hounds?
Angel is on the left and Pig Newton is on the right. I had them in a box while I was cleaning their cage. I just love how cute guinea pig lips are.
No more pigs for me! I do love the memories however!

I had pigs also. I loved my guinena pigs while I had them I actually got to watch one of mine give birth. But I don’t think I will have anymore eirther. My hounds have my heart now

I too just LOVE g.pigs. I use to pet sit for a pair, one black with tiny white spots, the other black and white like a paint horse. Their names were Oprah and Harpo!
Sadly, we have none as my cats, esp. 17lb Shooter,would cause all sorts of trouble.
Oh your guinea pigs were so cute!! I realize I’m commenting a year after this was posted, but I had to gush how sweet they are and I love the name Pig Newton!!

I have three piggies and they are truely a blessing! There is nothing sweeter than to come home and hear their CUTE little squeaks coming from down the hall! Their smiles, their nibblers, I just can’t get enough! They are the cutest thing ever!
Danny – I am addicted to piggers. When I was a little girl my Daddy built a guinea pic apartment house in the basement. At one time we have over 20 pigs, each in their own apartment. It was heaven! My favorite pig was named Poker Dumb.
I though he looked Dumb when he was poking. You know when they get into that trance and walk in slow motion? I was just a kid and now I would never name a pigger dumb. Oh howl I loved that pigger!
