September Morning……
Howllo fellow Basset Hound and September Morning Lovers! Well, Grandma and I are sure one of those.
You should see Chaps looking at me while I blog about Neil Diamond. Wow, I think he really loves Neil as well. It soothes him. OK – I am going to sneak out to get my camera which of course is in the dining room.
OK, he was still listening – This is an actual picture of Chaps listening to Neil Diamond this Foggy September Morning……
We hope you enjoy your September Morn…..
More Diamond Dog Days later…Cat, Chaps and Emma
Oh……that beautiful FACE — I just want to kiss it all over. Colby looks soooo much like his DAD. Have a wonderful day. We just go in from our walk and it is still Hotter then Heck here in Texas. Fall can’t come soon enough this year!
Chaps looks a bit worried about where you went Cat. Ha! I agree Audra. It’s still too warm here in Texas. Altho it has felt about 10 degrees cooler the past week or so. I’m soooooo ready for fall. I want to open my windows and air out the house!
I have always loved Neil Diamond. This was a fun reminder of his songs and appeal. To reminisce: I was in college and had gone to Casper to stay a weekend with a roommate. This must have been 1971 or 1972. We went downtown to a music store. They had records, sheet music, and instruments for sale. It was a few weeks before Christmas and they had a display of Christmas sheet music. It included Holly Holy! We really laughed about that. I’m sure the owners never listened to contemporary music nor had they read the lyrics of that song!
I agree about Texas weather. Now that it is only in the mid- 90’s, I really would like to see a nice cool Fall before the cold winds and rains kick-in.
Severe thunderstorms are rolling though basset hound town as I type. We are rockin and rollin! I am playing Neil Diamond to try and relax Chaps! So far it is not working!

The internet is so cool sometimes. I found your city and didn’t see a local TV station so I looked at Cincinnati Ohio. Your right on the border huh? Your very close to Cincinnati from what I can tell. Anyway, I found a Cincinnti local station WCPO TV 9 and you really did have some good storms come through there. Poor Chaps! I hope he got through it ok. I’m sure Mommy made everything ok. Looks like it’s headed further north now.
Yes Cindy we are 3 minutes from Cincinnati. I always go to WCPO to look at weather! You are right on the money! Chaps is exhausted and so am I. I really wish he could enjoy a good storm like Emma and I!
We love you Cindy!

I am a huge Neil Diamond fan, I think so many of his recording have gone through a period of being “my favorite song” and I still find him sooooooo sexy.
I have seen Neil Diamond twice in concert, and I really enjoyed myself and screamed my head off.
Cat,
I’m curious, what is your favorite Neil Diamond song?
Maureen – I don’t know. I love all of the. I really lean towards September morning. I will have to think about that one!
