Wanna see 2 cute pictures of Emma as a pup?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and need I even ask lovers? Who amongst us would not want to see 2 cute baby pictures of our Emmers? This first one was taken very shortly after I picked her up from TX. Just a little innocent pup!
Then we have this cherished moment! Emma looking at Mommy.
I just love old pictures. I need to make more time to go through some of the really old stacks. I am getting ready to change Emma’s bed and give her a sponge bath. Her allergies are really acting up today. Then we will head out for a mini sunbath. A girl needs her vitamin D!
More getting our vitamin D later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
Emmers you were so cute as a pup, but more beautiful now!! WOW one classy ladies…
So cute!! I love seeing old pictures. One huge regret I have is not taking nearly enough pictures of Scully when she was a pupster.
Enjoy your sunbath, Emma.
I see that the camera loves Our Emma, but I see that Our Emma is a fine lady of many moods. Our Emma looks a bit suspicious and cautious in that one photo. It makes me think what were you doing Mommy?
My hubby use to think I took more pictures of the hounds than the children. I most likely did, but the hounds never tossed a fit when I asked them to sit still for the photo.
I really enjoy seeing photos of your kids Cat. Thanks for sharing.
In the top picture it looks like she’s wondering what you were holding in front of your face. I’m sure she got used to that really fast! Ha! Precious pictures. Seems like allergies get the worst in the spring and fall. Emma is so lucky that she has such a great Mom to take care of her so she can be comfortable when her allergies flare up.
Absolute cuteness! I had to bathe Bernard yesterday as he was getting very smelly. One of the hardest things is to keep bassets clean and sweet smelling.
I’m curious: what do you mean by a sponge bath?
Hope Ems allergies subside.
Emma looks like she is practicing her
“come hither” look. If she had a fan to put
it over her face, she’d look like a southern
belle in an old time movie.
Awww I love them pics!
Hi Jon – Emma is allergic to everything, including Chaps slobber. So, Grandma and I make a mixture of baking soda and warm water and wipe her down from head to tail tip. We also do Chaps and you would not believe the dirt we get off of them. We also do sponge baths after every walk to get the grass and dirt off of them. It really helps Emmas allergies and they absolutely love it!
You should see Chaps roll over so we can get the under belly! It is too cute. I will have to take pictures next time!
Cat
I also need MY vitamin D !!! I go out and sunbathe as often as I can !
