Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and supporting the Mayor Lovers. I am not going to drone on and on about Chaps in the Sr. Hounds Abound Calendar contest because I hate to nag my dear friends and readers. So, we would now like to thank everyone who voted for Chaps in the Sr. Hounds Abound Calendar Contest with this cute picture of Emma from the same photo shoot! This is a tree about 5 minutes from my home.
I actually just cleaned up my desk top and changed my screen saver to this photo! It is so fall festive!

Only one thing more beautiful than a pile of red maple leaves, and that’s a pile of red maple leaves adorned with a beautiful (and wise) basset hound named Emma.

She is so pretty with the red leaves about her. But what else could she be?
Wanda – It was so funny. I did this photo shoot in someone’s yard. We were there for about an hour. I was hoping they did not care, which I guess they did not. It was really cool, the home owner also had a beautiful chime in the tree that really intrigued us all. It was a magical afternoon, five minutes from my home. I love finding magic close to home!

P.S. can you imagine looking out your window and seeing some lady (me) laying in the red leaves taking pictures of her very larger than life basset hounds? Now that is something I would love to see! Of course Grandma was with us. She is actually the one who insisted we have the photo shoot. She is so cool….
That is a beautiful picture that’s for sure. Your welcome Cat for trying to help get Chaps in to the calendar. He’s in 12th place and I thought he was in 13th so I gave some more to boot him up one. Then I realized I was counting my header line! Anyway, I’m sure you can tell that I hope he makes the calendar this year. I can’t wait to see tomorrow. Good luck!
