The first item I bought on ebay remains my favorite!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and eBay lovers….

I am not a huge eBay person. I hardly ever look anymore. I do have some eBay alerts but I don’t actively look anymore. For the most part, I just cannot afford to buy anything. Plus, I have so much basset hound stuff.

The best stuff I have, Chaps and Emma! LOL……

I thought you would like to see the very first item I bought on ebay. Like I said in the title of this blog, it remains my favorite! Is that not too funny?

It is this solid brass boy basset hound sitting in my kitchen window with the blue bird of happiness. I also have a twig that was in the flower arrangement my sister sent me when Chloe passed. I just find the combination so comforting when I turn on the lights in my kitchen each morning. It makes me smile. Also, if I get up late, the sun hits both pieces and that is really cool…..

I wish I could sleep in more mornings! hehehehe

More sharing window art later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

Cool – I also have a brass basset from ebay. My first ebay purchase was a basset figurine that is actually a puzzel that spells out Basset.

Cat, I really love that vignette of your brass basset, bluebird and the twig–that would give me a great sense of peace, as well:) I collect basset items, especially vintage ones. Every time I read on the Drool of a basset going the Bridge, I place on a table one of my basset figurines with a candle and a little kneeling wax angel that was a gift. I say a prayer to St. Francis as I light the candle and it alleviates my great sadness a little bit…

I think this is soooo touching.

I have a few Basset items, t-shirt, blanket, stuffed animal and Gaylord the Basset Hound toy; but Slinky is my main squeeze.
