Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Richard lovers: Remember a few days ago I did a blog posting on how Richard, basset hound town resident and brother to Bailey and Clancy, had a bad cough thought to be kennel cough? Well himz feels better now and hardly coughed at all last night!
Here he is taking his vitimin D today. Soaking in all of the warmth.
You look so much better Richard. You were in good hands.
Richard would like to thank his fellow residents for all of the well wishes.

Good news! We’re still slinging drool until we know he’s ALL better.
Thanks everyone……this kennel cough virus is the pits. I know my Abby had it after we rescued her from the pound and then gave it to Colby. Once you go through it with one of your own…..you sympathize with any basset who has had to endure it.

I agree with Audra, I have only had one occassion where I had Slinky at a doggie day care facility for one day. People told me that since I don’t kennel Slinky I shouldn’t waste money on a vaccine for kennel cough, but I am one of those people who believes in an “ounce of prevention…..”
I am glad to see Richard is feeling better. I could just flop in the sun and warm up right next to him. He looks very cuddly at the moment.
