Did someone say “Christmas Cookie”?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Christmas Cookie Lovers:
Well, you can sure say that Chaps and Emma are one of those. Well, I know that Cindy’s hounds are cookie lovers as well because she was so sweet and sent Chaps and Emma some of their favorite “nighty nite” cookies! Rugby, Jethro, Ozzie and Harriet all get one of these when they go beddie bye. You can see the box on the counter. They are carob and peanut butter. Look at those faces. My kids don’t get too many treats like this because of Emma’s allergies, but this is worth a benadryl!
As you can also see Cindy sent us the Elder Clara Cookbook. All proceeds from that went to support Sr. Hounds Abound. We just love it. Very cute.

My Mother-in-law made Peppernut cookies (this is the english, for I don’t know the spelling in German) our hounds always got a small piece each Holiday. Grandma Betty loved bassets and she always made sure they got treats. She was the best!
Yep, the Doyle hounds have trained their slaves well. No nite nite cookie, we no go to our bed. I don’t know what I’ll do if 3 Dog Bakery ever stops making those cookies. I had to LOL at Emma’s drool! Too cute! Jethro does the same thing for those cookies. After I go to bed Jethro sits in front of Daddy and just stares as he drools all over the floor. That’s Daddy’s hint that he wants his nite nite cookie and he’s ready for bed. ENJOY Chaps and Emma! You guys deserve the best!
Slinky, received an Elder Clara cookbook and a box of treats from Jethro, Rugby, Ozzie, Harriet and Taz. Slinky is after me to make her something special out of the Elder Clara cookbook, because everyone sounds so good.
Tell me, I know I have been a good girl, why am I not receiving all the attention my Basset is receiving?
Hmmmm…maybe Santa remembers when you were naughty and you just forgot! I’m glad Slinky got her package. She was very nice to her houndy friends this year so she deserves something in return. Enjoy Slinky!
