Basset hound town to the rescue! Literally…
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Lena Lovers! Grandma and I are on our way to rescue Lena from the pound. She will be living in Canadian region of basset hound town eventually.
We will take her to my vet to get the once over and then she will board for a few days until her transport picks her up! I will of course take my camera today! I will also provide more details about the journey she will be on this weekend.
Grab your passport pretty girl – OH CANADA!
More good news later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
How exciting!!! Your in good hands Miss Lena. Hang on and enjoy the ride!
Cat, hows grandpa?
Lena is quite a beauty, I don’t understand why the Mayor objects to her presence.
oh canada! indeed! what a lucky girl…i think she will enjoy the voyage..the sights she will see…pix..we want pix..(okay or postcards from the edge)
thank you for pulling her!!! ya done good!
how is grandpa today???
say hi to all in the neighborhood.
lois, buster & coop how is not feeling his oats today.
I understand the Mayor’s problem. Jethro has the same problem. Finally, after 2 1/2 years Harriet can lay within 5 feet of him. Jethro doesn’t like to share his Mommy with anyone except Rugs. I’m sure Chaps is the same way.
Lena is a beautimous houndette!!! I am delighted that she will be loved at last–she certainly deserves it:) Thank you so much, Cat!!

Cat, you are simply the BEST of the VERY BEST. We love you! YEAH LENA! 🙂
Cat – you are wonderful to rescue this beautiful dog and see to it that she gets a chance to have a new home. She seems to be a great dog and will be an awesome additon to her new family! Keep up the good work – we all love you – and of course Chaps and Emma too.
Cat you are the best for rescuing Lena
Excellent!!!
Grandpa still in the hospital but we have high hopes to spring him soon! Paws crossed!
Awww she is gorgeous and hope she’ll be very happy with you rescuing her. You can tell she’s not been walked (at least on hard ground) because her nails are very long and could do with a trim or they will hurt her when she walks.
Bless her heart and yours for rescuing her! xx
Bless you Cat !!!! Happy life Lena !!!
Hugs,
