Walking Man sculpture is considered one of the most important of the past century? Are you kidding me?
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and scratching your head lovers. Come on. You have got to be kidding me. This cannot be real. This statue was the result of a furious bidding war between two audacious bidders determined to get their hands on the desirable work of art.
DESIRABLE???
OK, hold on to your beverage so you don’t hurl. This dorkie thing went for 104 million dollars! That was hard for me to type.
Too bad the buyer is not into basset hound rescue.
But I tell you someone who is! The Mayor and he will be back shortly to show case his next Valentine for Trooper. This will be a truly priceless piece of art work that would blow this skinny guy right off of his walking man stride.
More wondering about people who think walking man is even near important.
Down right disgusting and shameful.
huh? wow…
I saw that on the news last night and thought the same thing! Heck, I could have sculpted that thing. That’s just way too ugly. Someone has way too much money.
If I had a trillon dollars I might hire someone to take it to the trash.
I am totally understanding why the person who bought this piece of trash wants to remain anonymous.
Cat
Cat, your too funny!
Someone has too much money!!!!!
I don’t see the attraction, but I am a Norman Rockwell person, and if the artwork doesn’t include a Basset Hound well I really can’t appreciate an item that much.
Now, I love art….. but I mean really!!!???? I just don’t get it. But then I like bobble head basset figurines !!!! LOL I think they should have found a better cause for that 104 million. Saving Bassets or saving something. I hope they read this. (and hang their head in shame)
