Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps Daddy Lover…
I am so in love with Chaps Daddy. He lives in Florida and his name is Magnum. He just turned 13 years old. His Mommy just sent me this picture of himz sleeping!
Magnum has his own room with his own bed. He is so loved by Karen and Tim. I have not had the pleasure of meeting Magnum but I sure hope I can. I look at Magnum and think…..That is Chaps Daddy!
You sure can tell from this picture that the apple does not fall far from the tree.
It is so interesting that Chaps has the same graying ears. Our Chaps is almost totally white on the face now.

OOOOOOH…Grandpa is sooooo cute! Yes, Colby favors his Dad and Grandpa. I love that we can share these photos. I know Colby is Tri-color, but he looks soooooo much like Chaps and Magnum in the face — and the look from the eyes! I’m glad to know that longevity is in their genes!!!!
Audra – Chaps wife is a tri-color named Florida Jo. So that is where Colby gets his tri color! I am thrilled that we can share these photos! I am thrilled that longevity is in their genes!

You guys are so lucky to be able to see 3 generations as they grow older. I wish I was in touch with some of Jethro’s siblings and parents.
I have three siblings Yola Bean, Harry Hat, and our visitor Tokie Barker. Their mama has gone to the bridge but papa is still here and looks like a young hound. These kids are going to be 8 and Harry is getting grey around his eyes but Yola and Tokie like any lady does not show their age at all. LOL I love the white face and ears. Gee I just thought about one of our rescue hounds Mama she was 17 when she went tot he bridge and had very little grey. Wonder what her folks looked like. Thanks for sharing the snoozing generations.

Thanks for posting these pictures! It is nice to know that our old boy is loved so well by everyone. I really have enjoyed seeing pictures of Colby & Chaps also. It really is nice to see the three generations and we were so grateful to celebrate Magnum’s 13th Birthday recently. He celebrated in high style & seemed to love his gifts. However, he quickly discarded the new toys for his old standby stinky possum toy which I have to wash quite frequently! He loves his toys!
