House of Puddles gets hit hard in Fredricksburg Maryland!

February 6th, 2010 - 7:07 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Snowpocalpyse lovers… I am not sure many of my readers are one of those but like it or not it is upon us. The House of Puddles has been hit hard. At noon today Marilyn had 23” and it was still snowing.

This was a picture she took this morning…She called it “Officially snowed in!”

Then Marilyn got the pavers shoveled off much to Buttermilks delight!

What wonderful pictures! I love seeing the seniors no matter what they are doing. The picture of Buttermilk brought tears to my eyes.

    Stay warm everybody.

Brother in law lives in Annandale, Va. and sent us some photos too. They sure did get hit hard, looks like they will be home bound for the whole weekend. We in Wisconsin are to get snow today- tuesday, but sure glad its not like the East coast. 🙂

I’m near Baltimore about 30 miles from HOP and we ended up with 31″

Marty have you ever been to the HOP? Marilyn has a picnic every fall. You may have told me and I forgot!

I can’t believe it is possible to have that much snow…..we never see that here in San Antonio, Texas — I guess that’s a good thing, because my babies want their ‘walk’ everyday! Stay warm everyone!

The worst thing to befall the hound and spaniel at our house today is that their beds are in the wash.

Strange to have sunshine this far north while the middle of the country/east coast gets blasted with snow like we usually have.

WOW 23 inches of snow. Well I guess Phil the Groundhog was right – 6 More Weeks of Winter.

Slinky loves the snow, she thinks its something special just for her to roll and play in.
