The video is up on the Westminster site of the basset hounds that competed!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and bassets that competed in Westminster Kennel Club hound lovers….
Well, the video is up if you want to watch it!
It totally cracks me up howl hard the handlers try to hold that tail up and then it comes right back down. It makes no sense to me why they do that. It looks funny!
More knowing that Chaps could have won paws down later! Love, Cat, Chaps (with his tail up) and Emma
P.S. He may be a bit grayer, but he is still at his show weight! hehehe
P.P.S. My Mom and I play around and try to make himz stack and he goofs around with us! I will get some pics.
This stance is just the way my boys look when they pee, especially Biggs! I call it doing “best in show”;)
Mary, Harley, Biggs and Leo
Mary that is so funny. Chaps does the same thing. He makes a big production out of it and plants his back legs so pretty! I will have to tell my Mom about best in show! hehehe
But which of those hounds won the breed?I liked the red and white one and the black and white one.
Kerry – It was the larger, heavy set handler that won. He was at the front at the very end. His name is Brian Martin and he has worked for Topsfield Bassets for 15 or so years that I know of.
Cat
I wonder how the hounds feel about competing. Bassets know they have so much to offer.
